This project is making a photographic record of the Milton Keynes Redways system. From the wildlife and flora to the people who use the redways to cycle, walk and play. A group of local photographers have come together to create this bank of photographs and video images which will be exhibited publicly and online and be available to schools and community groups.

The Redways in Milton Keynes

The Redways are unique to Milton Keynes. They are a network of red tarmac routes that run through the town like capillaries, giving walkers and cyclists a way to get around away from the road system. The redways go through urban areas, natural environments and parks, under and over roads, around lakes, and along canals. Click on the map below, or on MK Redway Maps.
